Wow, what a busy few months it’s been! As the year draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on all the exciting events and achievements that filled the second half of 2024.
Summer Fun in the Sun
June saw us kicking off the summer season with a trip to the Columbus Scottish Festival in Columbus, Indiana. It was a fantastic way to celebrate our Scottish heritage and share our music with enthusiastic crowds.
Fall Festivities and a Touch of Renaissance
September was a whirlwind of activity, starting with Worldfest in Louisville over Labor Day weekend. We always love being part of this vibrant celebration of cultures from around the globe.
Next up were the Middle Tennessee Highland Games, where we were thrilled to achieve 3rd place in Grade 5! This was a testament to all the hard work and dedication of our members.
We then journeyed to Eminence, Kentucky for the Kentucky Highland Renaissance Fair Central Kentucky Celtic Festival and Highland Games.
And let’s not forget the few talented members who represented us at the Kentucky Center for the Arts as warm-up for the Tartan Terrors! We’re always thrilled to share our music and passion for Scottish traditions with such receptive audiences.
Looking Ahead to 2025
November brought our annual general meeting, where we welcomed new members into the fold and started laying the groundwork for an exciting 2025. We’re energized and ready for the challenges and triumphs that await!
