Mid-Year Update: A Busy and Successful 2024 So Far!

As we approach the middle of the year, we are thrilled to share some exciting updates and achievements from the first half of 2024. It has indeed been a busy and rewarding time for us at the Louisville Pipe Band.

February: Featured at the McClanahan School Ceili

Our year kicked off on a high note as we were honored to be featured at the McClanahan School Ceili in February. It was a wonderful event, and we enjoyed performing for such an enthusiastic audience.

March: St. Patrick’s Day Parade

In March, the weather was on our side, allowing us to participate in the St. Patrick’s Day parade hosted by the Ancient Order of Hibernians. It was a fantastic experience, and we were delighted to be part of this cherished tradition.

April: Success at the Cincinnati Indoor Games

April brought remarkable success for our very own Anne Marie, who brought home multiple awards from the Cincinnati Indoor Games. She secured two first-place finishes, one second-place finish, and was named Grade 3 Piper of the Day. Congratulations, Anne Marie!

May: Competition at the St. Louis Scottish Games

In May, we faced stiff competition at the St. Louis Scottish Games and Cultural Festival. It was a challenging and enriching experience, and we are proud of our performance amidst such a talented field.

Looking Ahead: The Second Half of 2024

As we look forward to the second half of 2024, we anticipate a busy but prosperous period. We are excited about the upcoming events and opportunities to share our passion for pipe music with more audiences.
