40th Anniversary Concert – October 20, 2018

The band celebrates its 40th year with a concert at 7:30PM, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Kentucky Country Day Theater in Louisville, KY. Join us for an evening of music and dance with the KCD Choir, McClanahan’s School of Irish Dance, Highland dancers Heather and Lizzie Colman. Learn to play bagpipes and drums!

Join bagpipe and drumming classes at the Oldham County Schools Arts Center, 7105 Floydsburg Road
Crestwood, Kentucky 40014. Group lessons offered Monday, Tuesday and or Wednesday evenings – 15 weeks, $150 plus the cost of books, practice chanter, drum sticks – $60-$80.

Kirking of the Tartans!

In collaboration with the Scottish Society of Louisville, join members of the band for the “KIRKIN’ OF THE TARTANS” – Beulah Presbyterian Church, 6704 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291 Sunday, April 22, 2018, 10:40 a.m.

As part of the church’s 150th anniversary celebration, Beulah will conduct a “Kirkin’ of the Tartans” at our 10:40 worship service to honor the Scottish origin of the Presbyterian Church. In the spirit of the occasion, we invite you to wear plaid on April 22nd. The service will begin with a processional including bagpipe and drum, tartan banners and flags.

Pub-raiser to support the Louisville Pipe Band!

Band performs at 7 :00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. with our friends from McClanahan’s School of Irish Dance! Percentage of food and drink sales between 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. goes to the band! Purchase band t-shirts or hats! Help us purchase bagpipe chanters and pay for travel to Pipe Band competitions in 2018!
