Band members look forward to performing each year in the Ancient Order of Hibernian’s St. Patrick’s Parade! We will be stepping of at 3PM, Saturday, March 14 on Bardstown Road in Louisville, KY. We will look for you! More information about the parade found at this link.
The Band performs at 6PM and 8PM on Saturday, November 23 to celebrate St. Andrew’s Day and as a band fundraiser. The Celtic Pig will graciously offer 20% of all sales from open to closing on Saturday to the band. Please tell your server you are there to support us so your purchase will qualify for this event.
Band members were delighted to be invited to the Restaurant’s grand opening early this year – sharing a few pics from that event.

The Louisville Pipe Band performs at 6:30PM and 8PM on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at The Blind Squirrel Sports Bar and Restaurant, 592 N. English Station Road, Louisville, KY. A portion of meal sales and the sale of band swag will go to the band for new equipment and to pay travel to attend competitions. Come out with your family and friends to enjoy a meal, buy a T-shirt and listen to great bagpipe music! Donations are accepted in advance by clicking on the donate button below.
The Band is a charitable non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and is financially sustained by performance fees, private donations and corporate sponsorships to support teaching programs, scholarships for students to attend piping and drumming summer schools, and for travel to competitions in Kentucky, Georgia, Indiana and Ohio.
Saturday, August 31, the band leads the parade beginning at noon, then performs a :30 set on the Main stage immediately following. Come out and see us, enjoy the music, the food and the sights and sounds of Louisville’s diverse culture all in one place!
Back for a 4th Year! Pub-raiser at O’Shea’s on Baxter, Thursday, April 11, benefiting the pipe band! The Band performs at 7 :00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. with friends from McClanahan’s School of Irish Dance and Highland dancers Lizzie and Heather Colman! We will pass the hat for donations, sell band swag and share our love of bagpipe music with all of you! We have a big bill to pay this year – $4500 – to purchase new bagpipe chanters! We know we can raise this amount with your generous support!

Tartan Day celebration of Scottish Heritage at the Frazier Museum, 11AM-2PM, Saturday, April 6. Join members of the Louisville Pipe Band and The Scottish Society of Louisville at the Frazier History Museum to celebrate Tartan Day, the day honoring Scottish Heritage in North America. With our friends from the Scottish Society, the band will be present to share the sights, sounds, and tastes of Scotland with any and all interested museum visitors. Learn about the interesting clothing, music, weapons, and foods, even give traditional Scottish dancing a try! All activities are included with museum admission. More info at this link.

The band performs at five performances of the Boar’s Head Festival at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 2000 Douglass Blvd, Louisville, KY 40205 – 5PM and 8PM on Sat. December 29 and Sunday, December 30, and at 6:30PM on Monday, December 31.
Performance tickets are free, but a voluntary offering of canned goods to be shared with those in need in our community is appreciated. Call the box office to reserve your seats at 502-459-1595.
The Louisville Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival occurs between Christmas and New Year’s Day, December 29, 30 and 31. It portrays the spirit of Christmas in a medieval setting with elaborate costumes, festive music, and an elegant candlelight dinner. Over 200 volunteers work to present the festival to some 2,000+ guests every year. #bagpipes #drums #boarsheadfestival
